Katy-based Bakery-Café Expands to Meet Growing Demand for Kolaches

KATY, Texas (December 3, 2021) – Kolache Factory, a unique and fast-growing national pastry franchise chain based in Katy, Texas, opens a new storefront in Kingwood. The new store opened in September at 1395C Northpark Dr, Kingwood, TX 77339. 

The bakery-café chain is a Texas favorite and specializes in the savory and sweet Czech-inspired kolache pastry filled with fruits, meats, and cheeses. They also offer coffee from Houston coffee roaster, Katz Coffee, as well as hot chocolate, croissants, and muffins.

The latest Kolache Factory store is a testament to the chain’s loyal following as the Kingwood store is the 6thlocation for one of Kolache Factory’s first franchisees, Afsheen Degani.

Degani opened his first Kolache Factory store 21 years ago and has continued to find success with the kolache brand that Texans love. Now he is bringing his son Marhsall Degani into the family business to help run the Kingwood store. The younger Degani grew up helping his dad around the stores before going into healthcare consulting. Now he is excited to get back into the family business and sees a real opportunity to continue expanding with Kolache Factory.
