Founded in 2003, Katz Coffee is a small-batch, custom roasting operation based in Houston, Texas. Katz Coffee creates and roasts custom and proprietary blends for many of Houston’s most highly-acclaimed and discriminating chefs and restaurant owners.

House Blend - Guatemala Estate

Fair Trade/Organic -

Grown in the midst of volcanoes, this Fair Trade Organic coffee excites the senses with its lingering aroma, unique and subtle tastes of sweet syrup and smokiness. Guatemala produces outstanding coffees that are very balanced. The high acidity and smoky fragrant overtones create a nice clean well-balanced finish.

 

Medium Roast - Jumping Mouse

The name, Jumping Mouse, comes from the Native American legend of 7 Feathers, whose story inspired the creation of this blend. Jumping Mouse is a pre-roast blend of Central American, South American and exotic African beans yields a subtle body, a rich, nutty complexity and a lingering milk chocolate finish.

 

Dark Roast - Bayou Blend

Bayou Blend is richly aromatic, hefty, earthy and distinctly lush, much like Houston’s Buffalo Bayou, the fascinating urban greenscape that inspired this coffee and traverses from the outskirts of Katy through downtown Houston to the Ship Channel. Bayou Blend delivers a cup of coffee that is smooth in body and offers a hint of chocolate, dark fruit and citrus.
